St Leonards ForestLarge forest on the east borders of Horsham. This is where the majority of fungi on this site have been found. Terrain ranges from old beechwoods to scots pine plantations as well as heathland and marshy areas.

Katmai National Park, Brooks Lodge, Alaska
Katmai National ParkMy friend Dan Hewitt stayed here for a few days in 2005 and took some pics of fungi he found there. Apparently there was an abundance of mushrooms and photographing them had the added excitement of onlooking grizzly bears.
