The was the smallest specimen I've seen of the beefsteak fungus. It bled quite a lot after I sectioned it.

Comments:
Russula species Orangey brown cap with cream gills and white stipe. Gills fairly brittle and no noticeable smell. Striated and slightly peeling cap margin. Flesh white, no discolouration or taste
